Traditional Music
No school of music could ever be established in Galway without giving proper recognition
to the wealth of talent in traditional music that already exists in the region. In fact,
many of the performers already enjoy huge international profiles. Traditional music is an
inherent part of the fabric of musical and cultural life in the county.
To that end, it is part of our mission statement, to help develop the next generation of young players. We have assembled some of the finest teachers available with a wide range of facilities in support. All our traditional students also avail of our theory and aural training classes as part of their training.
