Tutor : David Szabó

David Szabó is a pianist, accompanist, piano teacher, from Budapest, Hungary.He graduated at the prestigious The Liszt Academy of Music in 2009, with distinction.

After graduating he joined the Music School of Szob as a teacher, where he worked together with Gergely Boganyi the Kossuth and Liszt prize winner pianist. He taught over 30, and accompanied more than 60 students in this institute. His students achieved such results, as winning the Grand prize and first prizes of the Piano Competition of Szob.

He was invited to join the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick in 2011, as the first piano student of MA in Classical Piano Playing. He has started teaching piano in this institute from 2012.

Beside the UL, Mr.Szabó also teaches in Munster Music Academy. In April of 2013 he joined the faculty at Maoin Cheoil na Gaillimhe.

As a pianist and accompanist, he played in almost all major cities of Hungary and of Ireland playing solo and in groups with various intsruments : violin, cello, clarinet, viola, double-bass, trumpet, trombone, horn, etc, and singers. His last main appearances were in Leipzig, Germany, in the Hochschule für Musik und Theater and int he St. Nicholas Cathedral, Galway.

He started giving charity concerts twice a year in Hajd&uecuten&aecuten&aecutes, Hungary, 6 years ago. Recently his concerts are broadcasted by the local media there, and have collected over 1000 euro for the lunch of homeless people during christmas.

He has won prizes at several national piano competitions, and accompanist competitions. He also won 1st prize in National Maths competition, Budapest, Hungary, and an international chess competition, Bratislava, Slovakia.
