An adult string orchestra that has been growing in strength each year. An eclectic bunch of musicians complimented by an equally eclectic collection of musical offerings set the tone for this orchestra. The emphasis is on having fun while still making a commitment to solid musical performances. Adults of varying standards are encouraged to join and rediscover the joy of performance. The music is designed specifically to challenge each section without disheartening and the resultant performances over the past decade have borne testament to that.

Membership of the orchestra is open to all adult string players and they do not have to be a part of the larger school. There is a very small attendance fee annually to cover costs. It should be mentioned that this is not really a group for anyone who has concerns about diet… Many rehearsals finish with tea and cake.
