All pupils should have the opportunity to excel musically and to develop a love of learning by having access and exposure to the arts.

The Galway Youth Choir’s mission is to give budding young vocalists a high-quality music education and provide them with performance opportunities to build confidence, self-esteem and develop their vocal skills.

We aim to develop and maintain a strong presence with local education and music communities. So that, through fun-fuelled choral training sessions and public performances, our members will learn discipline, develop leadership skills, and proudly represent their school as ambassadors of harmony.

By the end of this project, all pupils should gain an understanding of pitch, harmony, tempo, timbre, dynamics, song structure, and singing collectively.
