Part of our mission statement is to provide meaningful musical education for all the children of Galway regardless of means or access. One of the greatest hurdles many children face is the availability and ownership of instruments.

There will be families who have instruments in their homes that are not always in use. Maybe children have outgrown them or maybe moved on to further instruments, leaving wonderfully functional instruments without someone to play them.

A donation of such an instrument means that the chance to learn music is passed to another deserving child, who might otherwise never have such a chance.

Any instruments received will be checked and any necessary repairs carried out. Then the instrument will be passed to a new home and we can if requested chart the exchange to let donors know where the instrument has been rehomed.
